who we are

Veterans of the build, allergic to the hype.

We've been building for the web for more than ten years, long enough to watch platforms rise, rebrand and quietly die, and to know exactly which parts of the craft survive every cycle. Fast sites. Clear words. Systems that make money move.

That decade taught us the thing most agencies never learn: a website is a business tool, not an art project. So we start where your business actually hurts: the phone that doesn't ring, the admin that eats your evenings, the platform fee that grows faster than you do, and we build backwards from there.

The result is work that looks sharp because it is sharp underneath: scoped by people who've shipped hundreds of times, priced before a line of code exists, and built to still be standing when the next trend has come and gone.

    Hand-built sites for real local businesses, back when shipping meant FTP and nerves. That's where we learned the only metric that matters: does the phone ring more than it did last month.

    We watched good businesses wrestle page builders, rented platforms and template debt. We became the people who got them out: migrations that kept the rankings and lost the shackles.

    The systems era

    Websites stopped being brochures. Bookings, payments, portals, CRMs. We started building the operational spine of businesses, not just their shopfront.

    Automation designed in from day one, not bolted on after. A decade of pattern-recognition pointed at the newest tools in the box, with a veteran's scepticism about hype.

Digital XP is led technically by Umar Aziz, an economist by training and an engineer by obsession. The economics degree isn't a footnote: it's why every build here starts with margins, bottlenecks and buyer behaviour instead of a colour palette.

Digital XP is led commercially by Junade Khan, an economist and entrepreneur who has built and scaled businesses beyond £2 million.

As CEO of Onyx Recycling, EFR Skips and Berkshire Management, Junade brings experience from actually running companies; managing teams, customers, sales, operations, systems and the day-to-day problems that businesses encounter as they grow.

That operating experience shapes how Digital XP approaches technology. The starting point isn't simply what can be built, but what will make the business work better: where time is being wasted, where customers are dropping off, what can be automated and where better systems can improve margins and scalability.

With a strong working knowledge of technology, AI and business operations, Junade bridges the gap between the commercial problem and the technical solution.
